FIRE SAFETY INSULATION CLASS A-60, A-30, A-15, A-0
For this application, incombustible insulators are used owing to their fire resistance performance. Noncombustible insulators and other fire stops are used to reduce the risk of fire spreading from one end of the vessel to the other. Some of the insulation products used for this application include stone-wool and fiber-glass insulators.
Fire insulation product can either be plain insulation or insulations with facing. Plain insulation is typically used in areas where the insulation will lie beneath a construction. On the other hand, insulation with facing is used in applications where the insulating material will remain visible such as suspended ceilings. As such, fiberglass cloths, aluminum foil, and other such insulators are used.

A-0 THERMAL INSULATION
Thermal insulation will be installed type PAROC Ma Batts or ROCKWOOL weight 30kg and thickness 50mm with aluminum foil on one side at all exposed surfaces in way of decks and side bulkhead of accommodation space. The securing of insulation will be carried out with electrically welded rivets and the number of the rivets will not be less than 8/m2 equal spaced. The securing of rivets will be satisfied with galvanized washers.
